Augustine’s 3rd Birthday Bash!
From the workbench…
Patreon Exclusive Collection: Pokémon!
I've been working through the backlog of accumulated collection suggestions before taking on any more, and with the state of the economy, I had preplanned to release two to only my Patreon community since only a few model collars would be made to save me inventory. Pokémon has been a part of my life since the very first Gameboy, so while I'd planned to only make one model collar, I wound up with five. Access is granted only to the Herding Breed and Show Ring tiers.
Augustine's Birthday!
Augustine is my industrial machine and she's 3 years old! Prior to her arrival, I was spraining my wrist regularly hand-cranking a domestic machine through layers of cork and webbing. In celebration every year since her arrival, I host a sale and a scavenger hunt for 50% off an LE Collar of your choice. Notifications were sent out via email newsletter and via Patreon to all members. Make sure you sign yourself up if you don’t want to miss next year’s celebration.
New: Emergency Tag!
This idea came to me from an old friend as we were lamenting the way the vinyl stickers peeled away from our TubeThings in the Midwest heat since our crates never leave our cars. I ran into issues with engraving QR codes since they have to be uninterrupted to be scannable and cork is far from consistent, but NFC tags changed the game entirely.
The NFC tags are hidden inside the cork, unwritten, and the tag itself is portable, removable, and easy to wrap around a kennel bar door. Most modern devices can scan these without any extra apps installed. Custom text is available or there are two pre-engraved in the Ready to Ship section.
New: Patches
Many years ago, patches were requested for harnesses and collars. I attempted a number of different methods but never found one that worked consistently. A Patreon member brought them bubbling up to the surface again, beta-tested them on her SAR dog and, surprisingly, it held up the very first time: crashing through shrubbery, enduring rain and mud and coming out the victor. Currently these are only customizable, but I'm hoping to have some standard ones available in Ready to Ship rather soon.
